Cancellation/ Refund

While occasionally unforeseeable events keep a child from attending camp as registered, generally our Refund Policy is the following:
Cancel before March 31 = full refund
Cancel Before April 30 = 75% refund
After May 1 = No refund

Children With Special Needs

We love all children at Willow Creek Day camp and desire every child to have a great camp experience. For that reason, we find it best to follow this guideline: If your child requires a Mediator to attend Elementary School or requires extra supervision in a classroom situation, you must provide a Mediator to attend camp with them. Mediators must attend all off-site excursions as well, for which there may be an additional charge. Please speak to the camp Director or Registrar for this arrangement.


If your child requires medication throughout the day, it is always best if the Parent/ Guardian is responsible to administer it. If for some reason that is not possible, please see the Section Coordinator at the Information Table on Day 1 of Camp or on the day that the medication needs to be given. A release form must be signed by the parent/ guardian authorizing a Senior Staff to administer medication. Your child’s counselor is NOT authorized nor permitted to give medication. For everyone’s safety, at no time should a child have medication in their back-pack or take medication unsupervised.

Frequently asked questions

Q: My child has nut allergies. Should I send them to camp?
A: Safety First … our Senior Counselors have CPR qualifications and Epi-pen training. However, lunches come from home, and while we do our best to ensure that Day Camp is Nut-free, of course we cannot guarantee this 100%. We do request all campers & staff bring NUT FREE lunches and snacks.

Q: I have 4 children attending camp are there discounts available?
A: YES! WE are offering a $20 discount to the 3rd and following children attending camp from the same family.

Q: This is my child's first camp experience. Will they have a good time?
A: Our goal is to make every child's camp experience a life-long memory. From Day 1 of camp, we encourage friendship, playing as a team and building lasting relationships through Team Time, games, activities and even the Bus Rides!

Q: Are there any other costs to camp other than the Registration Fee?
A: All activities, transportation to afternoon off-site adventures … even a T-shirt & a Team Photo is included in the camp cost. Bringing money other days is not necessary nor encouraged and we cannot be responsible for misplaced or lost money.

Q: My child has special needs. Can they still come to camp?
A: Absolutely! Willow recognizes that an inclusive environment is a healthy environment and we welcome all children. In this spirit, it is our policy that if your child requires a Mediator or Special Assistance (part time or full time), to attend school, you will need to provide a Mediator for them during the full week of camp. As in school, children with special needs may need support to have a successful camp experience!

Q: How will I know what my child is doing each day?
A: All programs are subject to change, but we do our very best to keep you informed! You will receive a confirmation package in the mail prior to camp giving full details about your child’s camp and activities. Registrants after June 15th will receive their confirmation package at time of registration. Also, every morning at drop off, make sure you pick up a copy of the Daily News, outlining the next day’s activities, including telephone numbers.

Q: Do you provide before and after care?
A: Yes we do! For one hour before (8-9am) and one hour after (4-5pm), your child can participate in a fun, well-staffed program at a cost of $5 per hour/session or $40 for the entire week. To ensure proper staffing, your child MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED! (Click Here to download Registration Form)
